Under these circumstances, and in the presence of so much human talent mediocre egos crush; parasite voices join visible ones to gain prominence; vulgar offenders; head hunters, who need indifferent people; those who subvert a noble cause to pollute it; those who in the  end call us “tamed” when we applaud at nine in the evening to express gratitude.

I confess I am tamed, but in a way that none of those whom I referred to could ever understand: by those who deliver…

But do not worry; among the dozen questions that the health staff asks, there is one they will never utter:

Will you applaud me?
