Rafael Alejandro Rizo, from Santiago de Cuba, was the first direct delegate of the Energy and Mines Workers’ Union in the country, and the first among all the unions of the province of Santiago de Cuba to the 22nd congress of the Central Union of Cuban Workers (CTC in Spanish), according to a ceremony held today at the “Hermanos Diaz” Oil Refinery, after a deep and long process.
EfraínBenítez, from the national secretariat of the Energy and Mines workers union congratulated Rafael Alejandro Rizo, aka Felo, because he reached 169 votes, he put in high honor the Energy and Mines workers union, his heroic province of Santiago de Cuba, and of course, the “HermanosDíaz” Oil Refinery, first entity, among other ninety, selected in Cuba to elect a direct delegate to the 22nd congress of the CTC. In the case of Rafael Alejandro Rizo, from Santiago de Cuba, he is the standard bearer among twenty thousand workers of the twenty-seven Cubapetróleo companies that will be worthily represented in the 22nd CTC Congress.
