September amplifies its significance, and the influence of Virgo becomes more pronounced. This month, characterized by its mutable and earthy qualities, proudly honors Yemaya and Ochun, as well as the Virgin of Charity of El Cobre. It is a time for critics, conventionalists, and methodical thinkers—those who are reserved and capable of complex analysis. However, this period can also reveal insecurities and a focus on details.
September brought heavy rains and intense heat, along with earth-shattering earthquakes and record-breaking tremors.
The romantics are on the loose, along with the consecrated and perfectionists. This month is marked by the unusual and the hostile, recalling events such as the September 11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York and the coup d’état against Salvador Allende in Chile.
Virgos are known for their obsession with order and focus on the well-being of each family member September calls upon perfectionists to embrace responsibility and prioritize tasks such as the sugar and coffee harvest. Additionally, it emphasizes the need to reorganize the sector for new economic actors, addressing the issue of high prices and, of course, the start of the school year 2024-25.
As of this month, the final quarter of the year 2024 begins. The country’s highest leadership is urging a shift from theoretical discussions and excessive analysis to decisive action aimed at addressing solvable issues promptly. For those challenges that cannot be resolved immediately, the focus will be on maintaining momentum to make up for lost time.
On July 19 of this year, President Miguel Diaz-Canel highlighted a key initiative set to take effect in September: “The confrontation will be against the lack of control, illegalities, tax evasion, speculation, and fraud, regardless of their source”. Consequently, in September, direct discussions commenced with representatives from various economic sectors, including micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and self-employed workers, aimed at promoting order, legality, fair pricing, and contributing to the normalization of the money supply.
The repercussions of the first meeting in September served as a wake-up call for those who criticize and speculate against MSMEs and other economic entities of our time. In reality, these are Cubans who are committed to unity in action and fostering more direct collaboration with the government of Santiago.
There will be four to six additional direct exchanges, including the initiation of unionization among new economic actors, the implementation of decisions that support the public, such as reducing prices, contributing to food quality improvement, and providing the necessary legal support for MSMEs, TCP, and other entities in international transactions.
In the meantime, September amplifies the warnings of severe storms and earthquakes, but with a clear moral: “The return to action stands in stark contrast with relaxation.” And that is part of September’s charm.
