Social networks show the human potential now in Cuba, though victim of hatred, lies, defamation, rage and so much personal frustration from a part of the emigrants, because not all of them are violent and verbal terrorists against their own land.

In this summer in X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp and Messenger are frequent photos and videos of families, reunions of friends, graduations and birthdays, in any place of the province; you can also watch the dance of a mulatto woman in the middle of the road or even the good dives in the beach or a camping site.

Through the social networks, solidarity with Cuba is also multiplying in more than 125 nations, there are some four thousand people from Santiago who collaborate in fifty countries, and love travels through the web reciprocating pleasures, even, one in the early morning and the other, at the other end of the planet, in the middle of the Cuban noon.

The tags from this moral capital of eastern Cuba are confirmed #SantiagoDeCuba, #ModoVerano2024, #SiempreSantiago and @CTCStgodeCuba which includes the workers’ participation from working centers.

For the best dynamics and workers’ participation in social networks in defense of the Cuban truth, there are also virtual exchanges through forum-debates or seminars on the articulation of any platform, the generalization of national and foreign applications (apps), all for the sake of greater production of digital content and interaction with new foreign audiences in English, French, German and Russian, given the number of local speakers of the aforementioned languages.

The social networks serve to our sovereignty, independence, self-determination and the frank consensus towards the application of alternatives that not only allows us to circumvent the blockade, but also to advance in the development of Cuba’s economy.

Unity distinguishes us in good and bad times in the social networks, in spite of those who intend to coin as official the negative trend in social behavior, because the enemy prefers more “the stain that hinders the beautiful work”.

Unity in thought and action forged us as Cubans from Hatuey and Guama, of Father Varela, Jose de la Luz y Caballero, Jose Maria Heredia, the Father of the Homeland Carlos Manuel de Cespedes, to the Apostle and National Hero Jose Marti who seems to inject today in every worker’s post in social networks the joy he felt when he landed in Playitas de Cajobabo.
