Santiago de Cuba, CMKC, Radio Revolucion.- CMKC, the doyenne station of the eastern region, hosted the recognition ceremony for outstanding radio guild members and for those founders of a new stage of the Radio Revolucion radio station.
Lazaro Exposito, first secretary of the Party in the Santiago de Cuba province, saluted all CMKC workers, especially the ladies who celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC in Spanish) on this weekend.
The venue for the ceremony was the CMKC station theater. Journalists, script writers, radio announcers, sound engineers, editors and artists gathered there to celebrate.
The highlight of the celebration was the recognition of the most outstanding sound engineers—all of them very young—and the members of the provincial news program, who during the pandemic covered most of the program time.
